Kuril Lake

Khalaktyrsky Beach

Commander Islands

Mutnovsky Volcano

Tolbachik Volcano

Tolbachik is situated in the Valley of the Giants.

Dead Forest

Valley of Death

Avacha Bay

Avacha Bay, part of the Pacific Ocean, is one of the largest bays in the world, capable of accommodating vessels of any draft. The bay never freezes, and its shores are lined with bird colonies, seals, and Steller sea lions. Blue Lakes Nature Park

Blue Lakes Nature Park is located near Yelizovo. The park features a chain of interconnected lakes lined with wild Kamchatka plants and subalpine species like rhododendrons, wild irises, sedge, and saxifrage. The lakes get their name from the brilliant blue hue of the water during the glacier melt season, when tiny suspended ice particles refract the light, making the water appear a vibrant, vivid blue.

Avachinsky Volcano

Karymsky Volcano

Klyuchevskoy Nature Park is another cluster of the "Volcanoes of Kamchatka" reserve, formed by a group of highly active volcanoes. The most famous is the massive Klyuchevskaya Sopka (Klyuchevskoy Volcano), and the Tolbachik volcanoes belong to this group as well. Paratunka

Paratunka is a balneological thermal resort situated along the river of the same name. Surrounded by volcanic hills, it is protected from sudden temperature swings. Summers are pleasantly cool (around 15°C), and winters rarely drop below -17°C. The hot springs maintain a constant year-round temperature of 37–38°C. Sredinny Range

Klyuchevskoy Volcano
